Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to couples and families, implementing various therapeutic approaches to promote positive relationships and facilitate healing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations for new clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate records and document therapy sessions and progress.
Adhere to professional ethics and maintain client confidentiality.
Requirements
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Current Georgia licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Associate Professional Counselor (APC).
Demonstrated experience working with couples and families.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid understanding of relationship dynamics and family systems.
Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced training or certification in Gottman Method or other relevant therapeutic modalities (e.g., DBT, CBT).
Experience working with diverse populations.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

Founded by Dr. Aurélie Weinstein, a respected child, adolescent, and parent therapist, part-time Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology at Kennesaw State University, and children's book author, we offer a nurturing, safe haven where every member of the family can experience the transformative power of therapy.
