Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Parent Specialist to join our team as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will provide group and individual therapy, counseling, and coaching services to parents, using a variety of therapeutic techniques to support and empower them in their parenting journey.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations for new clients.
Develop and implement individual and group treatment plans.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, as well as parent coaching sessions.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely client records and document therapy sessions and progress.
Adhere to professional ethics and maintain strict client confidentiality.
Requirements
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current Georgia licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Associate Professional Counselor (APC), or related.
Proven experience working with parents in a therapeutic setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with child and adolescent development and family systems.
Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced training or certifications in relevant therapeutic modalities (e.g., Positive Discipline, CBT).
Experience in group facilitation and coaching.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
